Amy is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Accredited Nutritionist (AN), graduating from the University of Sydney in 2011. Since then, she has worked in a variety of health settings, including medical centres, aged care facilities, hospitals, and running nutrition group sessions and supermarket tours.
Amy is passionate about helping people by providing simple, practical nutrition advice that fits into everyday life. She enjoys working with her clients to support them in achieving their health goals in a realistic and sustainable way. Outside of work, Amy enjoys cooking, trying new foods, and travelling.
Amy has a special interest in food intolerances and food allergies. She spent five years working at the RPAH Allergy Unit, where she was involved in research with both children and adults. She has extensive experience using the RPAH elimination diet and low FODMAP diet to help clients with food intolerances identify trigger foods and manage their symptoms.
In addition, Amy provides nutrition advice and meal plans to address a range of health concerns, including:
- Diabetes and insulin resistance
- Cardiovascular health (e.g., high blood pressure, cholesterol, stroke)
- Weight management
- Gout
- Gut issues (e.g., irritable bowel syndrome, constipation)
- Infant feeding
- Nutritional deficiencies/malnutrition
- Bone health
