We are happy to welcome Dr Rishi Verma, a caring General Practitioner with a special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery, to Gymea Medical Practice.
Dr Verma completed his internship and residency at Westfield Hospital. He received his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2023. Later, he completed further training in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery at Bond University in 2024. He provides skin checks, early detection, and treatment for skin cancers and common skin conditions.
He has experience in general practice and dermatological care. He is interested in helping patients look after their skin and their general health. He also treats acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
Before studying medicine, Dr Verma completed a degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Sydney. He received the 2011 NASA Prize in Space Engineering for his outstanding work.
Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and playing golf.
